Introduction to Social Annotation, Part 1 (Hosted Online via Zoom) In-Person
Social Annotation is a powerful tool for student engagement with course content, allowing them to interact with the readings and their peers to construct new learning in the classroom. In this session we will look at the basics of social annotation, the tools available for implementing it in your course, and best practices for incorporating social annotation into rich learning experiences. You’ll not only learn about this great new methodology but get a chance to try it out for yourself.
Participants are encouraged (but not required) to also sign up for the Asynchronous Light Reading Series: Social Annotation (10/5-10/17) and Introduction to Social Annotation, Part 2 (10/18)
The CAT will send registered participants an access link to this webinar via email one hour prior to the sessions.
