Cultivating Connection with Canvas Collaborations (and Groups Too!) - (Hosted Online via Zoom) In-Person
Collaborative learning has been shown to promote learning, retention, engagement and persistence and can be effectively implemented using Canvas Groups and Collaborations. In this workshop, we will discuss the benefits of collaborative learning, share strategies for establishing and sorting Groups in Canvas, and demonstrate how to create Group Assignments and Discussions. We will also explore how to create collaborative documents using the Collaborations feature in Canvas. This webinar is designed for faculty who already know how to create a Canvas course, including setting up modules and assignments.
The CAT will send registered participants a Zoom access link to this webinar via email on the day of the session.
