Book Group: Intentional Tech by Derek Bruff (Hosted Online via Zoom) In-Person

New educational technologies should always be incorporated intentionally, with a clear sense not only of what the tool is and how it works but also how it will help further your pedagogical goals. Toward this end, Bruff provides seven research-based principles to guide educators in choosing which educational technologies will help them best meet their pedagogical goals and how they can integrate those tools in meaningful ways. Through stories of how instructors have creatively incorporated edtech into their own teaching, Bruff shows how these principles can be put into practice. Come join us in this book group to explore and discuss these principles and stories and imagine how they can inform your own teaching.
