Creating Multimodal Learning Opportunities with Adobe Express (Hosted In Person at the CAT) In-Person
Research in multimodal learning suggests that providing students with opportunities to engage with subject matter in a diversity of verbal, non-verbal, visual and auditory modes may help them develop a better understanding of that content (Sorensen 2016). The media creation platform Adobe Express can help you provide such opportunities. This three-part workshop will introduce you to the Adobe Express — Collage, Video, and Web Page — and help you explore how to use each one to create engaging multimedia materials for your courses as well as provide your students with opportunities to use these tools themselves to express their knowledge and skills in a diversity of modes and formats.
This 3-part workshop will meet in person on the following dates:

- Wednesday, October 19: 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM
Registration for the first session serves as registration for the subsequent sessions.
