Supporting Neurodiverse Students in Professional Health Programs (Hosted In Person at Health Sciences Campus) In-Person
The Merriam-Webster dictionary defines neurodiversity as “Individual differences in brain functioning regarded as normal variations within the human population,” and adds, “The concept that differences in brain functioning within the human population are normal and that brain functioning that is not neurotypical should not be stigmatized.” Come join us for a light reading to learn more about our neurodiverse learners, the assets and challenges they bring to the learning environment, and how we can best support them. An article on this topic will be provided to registrants in advance of the session.
Please note that this workshop will be held on the Health Sciences Campus in the Student Faculty Center, 3340 N. Broad Street, Room 200.
