CAT Writing Cafe (Hosted In Person at the CAT) In-Person

Are you feeling a bit isolated as you juggle your many faculty roles and would like a bit more structure, motivation, and accountability to help you with your scholarly productivity (Page et al., 2012)? Are you looking for collaborative opportunities and helpful strategies demonstrated to bolster academic writing and advance scholarship (Boice, 1990; Smith, 2017; Stanley et al., 2017)? If you are, please join us for our CAT Writing Cafe (CWC). The CWC will provide an environment in which you can dedicate time to your academic writing and which will allow you to get support from dedicated CAT staff and colleagues from across the university along your writing journey. If you are working on a Scholarship of Teaching and Learning project, CAT staff can assist.

Starting in February 2022, the CWC will be held the first Friday of every month from 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM in Room 109 of the Tech Center. We welcome you to stay for the whole time, or come and go as your schedule allows. No registration needed.
