Level Up! Learning with Games and Gamification (Hosted In Person at the CAT) In-Person
Humans love to play and learning is meant to be fun! “Gamification” describes the process of leveraging the human need for play to motivate behavior. In this workshop you’ll learn about ways that games and gamification can enhance student learning, the basics of gamification, and some tools to make the gamification experience engaging and easier to adopt. You’ll collaborate with colleagues to gamify an individual lesson and learn design principles for gamification of an entire course.
This workshop is held in person (TECH 109) in three sessions:

- Wednesday, March 30, 3:00 - 4:30 PM
- Wednesday, April 6, 3:00 - 4:30 PM
Registration for the first session will serve as registration for the subsequent sessions.
