Resources and Support for Student Mental Health (Hosted Online via Zoom) In-Person

As we return to teaching this fall, we still face the uncertainty and challenges of an ongoing pandemic on top of the many stressors of the past year and half. This means that faculty need to be especially mindful of our students’ mental well-being.

In this 2-part workshop, faculty can discuss their concerns about supporting students’ mental health and learn more about the university resources available to them from representatives from the Dean of Students office, CARE team, Wellness Resource Center, and Tuttleman Counseling Services. These workshops will equip faculty to be proactive in identifying students who may be struggling--ensuring they get the support they need during this challenging time.

Guest Facilitators: Rachael Stark, Senior Associate Dean of Students; Megan McCloskey, Program Coordinator, CARE Team; Alison McKee, Director, Wellness Resource Center; Janie Egan, Mental Well-Being Program Coordinator, Wellness Resource Center

This 2-part workshop will be held online on the following dates:

  • Monday, September 20, 12:00 PM - 1:30 PM
  • Monday, September 27, 12:00 PM - 1:30 PM

Registration for the first session will serve as registration for the subsequent session.

A Zoom access link will be shared with registered participants via email on the day of the workshops.
