Mind-Body-Brain Connections in the Classroom: A Conversation Series, pt 2 (Hosted Online via Zoom) In-Person
We are not just “brains on sticks”. Viewing the mind, body, and brain as integrated within a system that processes information, sensations, and emotions has important implications for how we approach the teaching and learning process. How might we foreground mind-body-brain connections when designing learning activities and engaging students? What are strategies applicable to a range of disciplines that help awaken these connections and deepen learning? How can these strategies be adapted for online settings? Join us in a series of conversations that explore these and other questions about mind-body-brain connections in teaching and learning.
