Beating Cheating Systems (Hosted Online via Zoom) In-Person

‘Homework help’ websites advertised as homework help for students present a growing challenge to academic integrity. These online sites make it easy for students to cheat on assignments and exams. What can faculty do about it? Participants in this workshop will discuss strategies and approaches to address the challenges posed by these websites and promote academic integrity in their classrooms. We will look at how these systems work, consider ways to communicate with students, and share ideas for creating assignments and tests that can promote academic integrity and minimize cheating.

This 3-part workshop will be held online via Zoom on the following dates:

  • Thursday, September 30, 11:00 am -12:30 pm
  • Thursday, October 7, 11:00 am -12:30 pm
