Assignments that Live Beyond the Course: Student Success and Engagement through Open Pedagogy (Co-sponsored by TU Libraries) In-Person

All too often students view their course assignments as disposable busy work with no real connection to their lives or their world. Open Pedagogy provides a framework for designing assignments that take on a life of their own, motivating students by raising the stakes and engaging them with a larger universe of learning. Join us for this three part, interactive workshop and you will learn the theory of Open Pedagogy, get ideas for possible activities/assignments, and put it into practice by revising one of your own assignments.

This workshop is co-sponsored by Temple University Libraries.

This workshop will be held in three parts on the following dates:

  • Thursday, March 4, 11:00am-12:30pm
  • Thursday, March 11, 11:00am-12:30pm
