You Can Take it With You: Teaching for Retention Beyond the End of the Semester (Hosted Online via Zoom) In-Person
Our goal as instructors is to help our students build a set of new skills and knowledge that lead to future success. However, our students all too often see their education as a series of unrelated hoops to jump through and readily forget course content the minute final exams are over. In this workshop, you’ll learn ways to build your courses so that student learning persists past the end of the semester.
This workshop will be held in three sessions:
- Tuesday, February 9, 9:00am-10:30am
- Tuesday, February 16, 9:00am-10:30am
- Tuesday, February 23, 9:00am-10:30am
Registration for the first session will serve as registration for the subsequent sessions.
The CAT will send an access link to this webinar via email one hour prior to the session.
