Assessment that Works in Online Courses (Short Course Workshop) In-Person
One concern of faculty teaching online for the first time is that their normal face-to-face methods of assessment simply won’t work online because students can cheat too easily. In fact, it is important to rethink what assessment looks like in the online classroom. In this webinar, we will discuss how to effectively assess student learning online in ways that are both authentic to the discipline and appropriate for the online environment. Included will be a discussion of technology tools that can support student presentations, group projects, and group tests.
This workshop is part of the Teaching Online Short Course cycle. To view program requirements, visit https://teaching.temple.edu/online-short-course.
