Balancing Teaching and Research in Your Fast-Paced Life In-Person
Faculty and teaching assistants, especially ones with heavy teaching loads, often feel that they have to choose between teaching and advancing their research agendas. It can be a difficult task to do both well, but there are strategies that can help faculty balance their research and teaching duties without sacrificing their responsibility to their students, to their own careers, and to their own sanity.
Participants in this workshop series will hear from faculty who have found ways to manage this balancing act and will also actively work on considering and choosing strategies that they will find personally useful.
This workshop is held in two sessions:
- Series Session 1: Tuesday, March 10, 2020 from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm
- Series Session 2: Tuesday, March 24, 2020 from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm
