Teaching from the Side: A Student-Centered Approach In-Person
As instructors, we are ultimately responsible for our courses. Sometimes this fact leads us to over-emphasize our own role in the classroom. Unfortunately, we can focus so much on our own agency that we end up ignoring the other people in the room. Join us for a three-part workshop that looks at teaching from the other end of the equation, starting with what our students do and the learning environments we create for them.
This workshop is held in three sessions:
- Series Session 1: Wednesday, February 12, 2020 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm
- Series Session 2: Wednesday, February 19, 2020 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm
- Series Session 3: Wednesday, February 26, 2020 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm
Registration for the first session will serve as registration for the subsequent sessions.
