Classic Book Group: The Courage to Teach by Parker J. Palmer In-Person

"This book is for teachers who have good days and bad — and whose bad days bring the suffering that comes only from something one loves. It is for teachers who refuse to harden their hearts, because they love learners, learning, and the teaching life." — Parker J. Palmer [from the Introduction].

One of our favorite books! Join the CAT in a discussion of this classic teaching and learning book, which looks at ways to reclaim and maintain the passion we have for this most challenging and human of professions. Let’s think together about the connectedness and community that are part and parcel of what good teaching is all about, and how our identities as educators impact every day we spend working with students.
