Designing Courses for Deep Learning In-Person
Is there a better way to create your courses so that students are more likely to learn? This three-part workshop will offer faculty opportunities to learn about effective ways to build courses, whether they are face to face, online, or hybrid. We’ll create learning goals for our students, explore assessments of all kinds, and plan activities that give students the knowledge, practice, and thinking they need to reach course goals. Let’s work together to develop a set of tools to help us rejuvenate our course planning.
This workshop is held in three sessions:
- Series Session 1: Monday, September 23, 2019 from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm
- Series Session 2: Monday, September 30, 2019 from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm
- Series Session 3: Monday, October 7, 2019 from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm
Registration for the first session will serve as registration for the subsequent sessions.
