To the Term Paper and Beyond: Enhancing long-form student writing

Do you find yourself frustrated with your students’ writing?  We all want our students to be effective thinkers and writers, but many assignments created to highlight these skills lead to instructor disappointment.  In this workshop, we’ll look at how to break the cycle of heartache by re-examining and revamping long form writing assignments like the research paper or term paper.  You’ll also have an opportunity to explore alternatives to the long paper that provide better venues for students to demonstrate their learning.

Registration for the first session will serve as registration for the subsequent sessions.
