Creating Engaging Video Lectures In-Person
As online, flipped, and hybrid class formats grow in popularity, the number of faculty creating video lectures is increasing. In this two-part workshop, we will explore both the pedagogical and technological aspects of creating engaging video lectures for students to view online. We will focus on specific methods and activities instructors can use to create more interactive experiences in video lectures and why they are important for student learning. You will be introduced to basic screencasting software, such as Camtasia Relay and Screencast-o-Matic.
