Plagiarism in the Context of AI In-Person

Confused about how to handle A.I. in your classroom? Is unauthorized A.I. use a form of plagiarism or is it something else? Why do we care about plagiarism anyway, and why do so many of us have visceral reactions to student plagiarism? And why are so many of us knee-jerk skeptics towards these new tools? Is banning the usage of A.I. a reasonable pedagogical strategy or retrograde thinking in a new techno-age? In this session, we'll try to sort out some answers to these questions that make sense of our feelings while helping us devise rational responses to the challenges posed by our new A.I.-infused world. All Temple instructors and staff are welcome!

(No A.I. tool assisted in the creation of this blurb.)
