The Strategic Hybrid Instructor: Effective Design for the Hybrid Modality In-Person
Hybrid courses are designed to be delivered partially asynchronously and partially synchronously, which requires faculty members to make instructional decisions unique to this mixed modality. This workshop will provide you with the tools to make informed and intentional decisions about how to integrate synchronous and asynchronous components of your course, which content can be best addressed either during or outside of class meetings, and how to create a sense of coherence across the entire course. Participants will engage with materials relevant to this topic asynchronously in the week prior to November 3rd. All Temple instructors and staff are welcome.
Facilitator: Dana Dawson, Associate Director, CAT
