Can We Really Talk? Pt 3: What Does Success Look Like for First-Gen Students? A Light Reading Discussion In-Person

In celebration of national First-Gen Celebration Week, the CAT and Temple’s First Scholars Steering Committee invite you to a light-reading discussion of “How Are First-Generation Students Doing Throughout Their College Years? An Examination of Academic Success, Retention, and Completion Rates” by Weisen, Do, Peczuh, Hufnagle, & Maruyama (2024). Come explore the data, share your insights, and reflect with colleagues from across the university on what truly supports First-Gen success—inside and outside the classroom. All Temple instructors and staff are welcome!
