Can We Really Talk? Pt 1: Teaching in a Shifting Landscape In-Person

Since early 2025, national efforts to curtail diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) work have caused rapid shifts in higher education, leaving many educators, students, and administrators asking: How do we move forward? What do these changes mean for our campuses, our classrooms, and our communities? In this session, we’ll engage in an open, honest conversation about the evolving national landscape of DEI and its impact on higher education. Together, we’ll reflect on how these changes are affecting our work and explore strategies for continuing to foster inclusive environments that support all members of our campus communities. All Temple instructors and staff are welcome!

The Can We Really Talk? Series is co-sponsored with the Office of Institutional Diversity, Equity, Advocacy and Leadership (IDEAL). This event will take place in IDEAL's space, Tuttleman Learning Center 100D-1.
