Recognizing Great Teaching at Temple: An Information Session with Peter Derstine, Assistant Director, Office of the Vice Provost for Faculty Affairs In-Person
Temple University proudly celebrates the achievements and dedication of our exceptional faculty. Each year, we honor those who have demonstrated excellence in teaching, research, creative work, and service. Join us for an informative conversation with Peter Derstine, Assistant Director in the Office of the Vice Provost for Faculty Affairs, to learn more about award opportunities such as the Great Teacher Award, Lindback Awards for Distinguished Teaching, the Faculty Research and Creative Achievement Award, the Provost's Award for Teaching Excellence in General Education, and the Part-time Faculty Excellence in Teaching and Instruction Awards. He will provide an overview of award timelines, eligibility, and application processes. We will also highlight the support and resources available through the Center for the Advancement of Teaching (CAT) to help faculty prepare strong application materials. All Temple instructors and staff are welcome!
