Think, Pair, Scared? Designing Your Lesson for Active Learning In-Person

Maybe you believe in the benefits of active learning (there’s a lot of research demonstrating its effectiveness, after all). But maybe when you contemplate integrating active learning into your class planning, nothing but worries arise. How will you address all of your content? What if students hate it? Will it negatively impact your SFF’s? This workshop will walk you through the process of planning a lesson that includes active learning from choosing and implementing the activity to getting back on track if things don’t go as planned. All Temple instructors and staff are welcome!
