Implementing Effective Peer Review of Teaching in Your Department In-Person

Standards-based peer review builds community as colleagues offer each other ideas and feedback. It can also combat potential over-reliance on student evaluations as the sole measure of good teaching. Organize a departmental team and work together to create or revise peer review of teaching processes and instruments that will support your collective work as educators. Teams will commit to all four meetings and receive a sourcebook full of great advice and model evaluation instruments.
