Universal Design for Learning (UDL) in Action: Creating Accessible Course Materials In-Person

Accessible course materials are the foundation of an inclusive learning environment where all students feel welcomed, and all students can succeed. In session one, you will explore the recently updated Universal Design for Learning (UDL) guidelines for access, one of the three central tenets of UDL. Access involves designing options that ensure individual learners can engage, understand, and interact with your course content. In session two, you will learn practical strategies for checking that your Canvas courses, documents, PDFs, presentations and multimedia content are accessible — and what to do if you discover that they are not! All Temple instructors and staff are welcome.

This 2-part workshop will meet via Zoom on the following dates:

  • Monday, January 27, 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM
