Getting Ready for Next Semester: Podcasting! (Hosted in person) In-Person

Podcasts allow students to work with sound in order to convey information, stories, and opinions. Born out of the digital storytelling movement, podcast assignments provide a creative alternative to traditional assignments. In the first part of this workshop, you will learn about the pedagogy behind digital storytelling, discuss the exciting potential of podcast assignments, and listen to example assignments to help brainstorm ideas for your courses. In the second part, you will learn how to use free audio editing applications and we will help you create your own podcast!
