Book Group: Effective Teaching in Large STEM Classes by Anna Wood (Hosted In Person) In-Person

This new anthology provides practical and feasible suggestions for how to keep students engaged and on track in large STEM classes. The first half of the text addresses topics such as implementing active learning and inclusive assessment and the second half presents case studies from courses in different STEM fields. Join us as we tackle the question of how to apply best practices for educating our students when so very many of them are sitting in front of you.

Facilitator: Dana Dawson, Associate Director, CAT; Elizabeth Cerkez, Associate Professor of Instruction, Chemistry, CST
