Micro Pedagogy: Ungrading in 30 Minutes (Hosted Online via Zoom) In-Person
Assessment of learning is hard. Many of us struggle to develop engaging assessment plans that help cement learning without burying ourselves under piles of grading or turning students into rabid points-grubbers. In this brief workshop you’ll be introduced to the basic principles of upgrading, a new approach to assessment that moves away from points and percentages and towards direct engagement with the learning happening in our classes.
