Helping Students Help Themselves: Developing Self-Regulated Learners In-Person
Have you had students tell you that they are just "no good" in your subject, no matter what they do? Perhaps they make the same mistakes over and over again, never seeming to make the adjustments necessary to learn the material well. The research on learning tells us that all students learn if they develop self-regulation skills. As faculty, we can help our students by giving them simple, straightforward strategies to use that can significantly increase their learning and performance. Join us at the CAT to find out how to help students help themselves learn.
