Teaching and Learning STEM: A Practical Guide by Richard M. Felder & Rebecca Brent In-Person

In this workshop, we will explore writing meaningful learning objectives that align with the needs of your students, program, and profession. Keeping those objectives in mind, we will then examine the use of study guides, as well as explore how we can purposefully develop students’ professional behaviors and skills, including working in teams. We encourage you to bring a course syllabus, and if you use these, a study guide and directions you give your students for working in teams.

NOTE: This is a continuation of the workshop we held last year using the same book. However, we are discussing chapters we did not get to last time, so we encourage you to come even if you did not attend last year. Participants who did not attend last year's workshop will receive a complimentary copy of the book.
