Getting Students to Read! (Hosted Online via Zoom) In-Person

"I can’t get my students to read!" is a common concern we hear from faculty. It may seem like each year we struggle more with getting students to read what we assign, but has the problem really gotten worse? Why, exactly, aren't students doing the reading? The issues involved may be different from what you think! Join us for a lively panel discussion with David Gooblar, Associate Director of the CAT and author of The Missing Course: Everything They Never Taught You About College Teaching and Lori Salem, Assistant Vice Provost and Director of Temple’s Student Success Center, as we explore causes of--and strategies for--dealing with this issue.

Moderated by David Ingram, CAT Faculty Fellow and Associate Professor of Theater.

The facilitator will send an access link to this webinar via email prior to the session.
