Classic Book Group: What the Best College Teachers Do by Ken Bain In-Person
Sixteen years after it was first published, Ken Bain’s What the Best College Teachers Do remains a classic. Join us for an inspiring series of conversations about great teachers and their often surprising methods. We’ll take a deep dive into Bain’s research, and look for ways to adapt his findings to our own classrooms.
Participants are expected to attend all three sessions and will receive a complimentary copy of the book. Once you're registered, please stop by the CAT (TECH 112) to claim your copy.
This workshop is held in three sessions:
- Series Session 1: Monday, February 10, 2020 from 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm
- Series Session 2: Monday, February 17, 2020 from 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm
- Series Session 3: Monday, February 24, 2020 from 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm
Registration for the first session will serve as registration for the subsequent sessions.
