Can We Really Talk? Join us for National First-Generation Celebration Week! First Gen/Gen Z Success In-Person

Nearly 40% of Temple's undergraduate students are the first in their families to attend college, bringing remarkable strengths, resilience, and determination to our classrooms. At the same time, today's Generation Z students are navigating higher education in a rapidly changing world shaped by AI, social media, evolving career pathways, financial pressures, and increasing mental health needs. During National First-Generation College Celebration Week, join us at the new Essential Needs Hub to explore how we can foster belonging, strengthen student engagement, and support first-generation and Gen Z student success at Temple. All are welcome!

The Can We Really Talk? Series is co-sponsored with the Office of Institutional Diversity, Equity, Advocacy and Leadership (IDEAL).
