Teaching with Google Notebook LM / Adobe Student Spaces In-Person

Are your students actually reading dense course materials, or are they just skimming? Learn to harness Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) tools to transform static readings into dynamic, interactive learning environments. This hands-on workshop introduces Google NotebookLM and Adobe Student Spaces. These tools act as personalized, 24/7 AI tutors trained exclusively on your class material. We will balance critical pedagogical strategies, like preventing AI dependency by focusing on source verification, alongside technical training on how to upload documents, review hyperlinked citations, and instantly generate podcast-style audio summaries to support diverse learners. All Temple instructors and staff are welcome!

Facilitator: Jennifer Zaylea, Assistant Director of Digital & Emerging Technologies, CAT
