Recognizing Great Teaching at Temple: An Information Session with Peter Derstine, Assistant Director, Office of the Vice Provost for Faculty Affairs In-Person

Temple University proudly celebrates the achievements and dedication of our exceptional faculty. Each year, we honor those who have demonstrated excellence in teaching, research, creative work, and service.

Join us for an informative conversation with Peter Derstine, Assistant Director in the Office of the Vice Provost for Faculty Affairs, to learn more about award opportunities such as the Great Teacher Award, Lindback Awards for Distinguished Teaching, the Faculty Research and Creative Achievement Award, the Provost's Award for Teaching Excellence in General Education, and the Part-time Faculty Excellence in Teaching and Instruction Awards.

He will provide an overview of award timelines, eligibility, and application processes. We will also highlight the support and resources available through the Center for the Advancement of Teaching (CAT) to help faculty prepare strong application materials.

All are welcome to attend and a zoom link will be sent to registrants ahead of the event.

Facilitators: Peter Derstine, Assistant Director, Office of the Vice Provost for Faculty Affairs; Linda Hasunuma, Associate Director of Teaching and Faculty Success, CAT

The CAT will email registered participants a Zoom access link to this webinar one hour before the session.
