Accessible Teaching Essentials: Creating Inclusive Documents In-Person

This one-hour workshop gives instructors the core skills needed to make Word Documents accessible to all learners. You will review the role of headings, lists, alt text, and meaningful structure, then apply WCAG 2.1 guidelines to the documents you use every day. The session includes hands-on practice and practical steps you can take to remediate your own files. Participants will leave with a clear understanding of accessible document design and the skills needed to improve their materials. This workshop is a great refresher for those with prior CAT accessibility training and as a first step for those just getting started. All Temple instructors and staff are welcome!
