AI Resource Fair: Ginsburg Library Edition In-Person
Join the Center for Advancement in Teaching and the Ginsburg Library staff for an AI Fair designed specifically for faculty in the health sciences who are curious about generative artificial intelligence but unsure where to start or how to continue. Meeting in the Ginsburg Library’s Innovation Space you will get a chance to talk to CAT and Library staff, try out AI tools available in the Libraries’ collection; explore how AI is being used in healthcare and health science education; get insights into Temple’s guidelines for AI use and see what is out there to use in teaching, research, and clinical practice. Whether you're a beginner or just looking to build confidence, this is your space to ask questions, try things out, and imagine new ways of working with AI. Computers are available, but feel free to bring your own if you prefer. Drop in anytime between noon and 2PM. All faculty and staff are welcome.
Speakers: Sarah Jones, Science and Engineering Librarian; Nick Perilli, Innovation Librarian; Jenny Pierce, Head of Research, Education and Outreach, Health Sciences Libraries; Caitlin Shanley, Librarian and Coordinator of Learning and Student Success
