What motivates and inspires you as a teacher? How do your values shape your choices in the classroom, and how do those choices help students achieve your course’s learning goals? What evidence can you offer to demonstrate your effectiveness and growth over time?
This interactive workshop will help you transform your experiences, challenges, and successes into a compelling teaching narrative for tenure, promotion, and award applications. Through guided reflection and collaborative activities, you’ll learn how to craft a teaching statement that authentically represents who you are as an educator and your impact and legacy at Temple. All Temple instructors and staff are welcome!
