Thinking About Thinking: Teaching Metacognitive Skills to Your Students In-Person

Research shows that when students develop metacognitive awareness, they persist longer, take more ownership of their learning, and see better outcomes. In this hands-on workshop, we'll explore what it means to be a self-regulated learner and how we can help our students develop these crucial skills. You'll learn practical strategies for encouraging students to monitor their own progress, assess their strengths and weaknesses, and make adjustments when their current approach isn't working. All Temple instructors and staff are welcome!
