Creating an Authentic and Effective Teaching Portfolio (Hosted Asynchronously in Canvas November 4-January 12) In-Person
A well-designed teaching portfolio can support career advancement and offer faculty and teaching assistants a chance to reflect on your philosophical and practical approach to teaching. This asynchronous course will introduce you to the essential ingredients for a quality teaching portfolio, including how to develop an authentic philosophy of teaching and diversity statement, and options for presenting your portfolio digitally. During the course, you will have time to develop portfolio materials, receive feedback and revise. If you need to develop a teaching portfolio for tenure and promotion, merit, job or award applications, or to showcase your work and would benefit from the support of CAT staff and Temple colleagues and the structure of regular deadlines to generate materials, this workshop is for you!
Facilitators: Dana Dawson, Associate Director, CAT; Jennifer Zaylea, Digital Media Specialist, CAT
