Mad at School: Rhetorics of Mental Disability and Academic Life by Margaret Price In-Person
Today's college students report higher rates of depression, anxiety, and other mental health conditions, with greater severity of symptoms than previous generations. How can college professors adjust to the presence of mental illness in the classroom in ways that support and include diverse learners? Margaret Price addresses these questions and others in Mad At School: The Rhetorics of Mental Disability and Academic Life, presenting a framework for thinking about mental disability and challenging readers to redefine universal design practices for teaching and learning.
