Mad at School: The Rhetoric of Mental Disability in Higher Education by Margaret Price In-Person

Today's college students report higher rates of depression, anxiety, and other mental health conditions, with greater severity of symptoms than previous generations. What is behind the increase in mental illness, and how can college professors adjust to the presence of mental illness in the classroom in ways that support and include diverse learners? Margaret Price addresses these questions and others in Mad At School: The Rhetoric of Mental Disability in Higher Education, presenting a framework for thinking about mental disability and challenging readers to redefine universal design practices for teaching and learning.
