An Ounce of Prevention: Teaching Strategies that Impede Plagiarism In-Person

Despite warnings and punishments, plagiarism still occurs, and unfortunately with increasing frequency. For busy faculty, policing plagiarism can take valuable time away from developing students’ writing, reading, and critical thinking skills. So what can instructors do to stop plagiarism before it happens? In this two-part hands-on workshop, faculty will learn strategies and tools for preventing students from committing plagiarism in the first place.
