Using Web Conferencing Tools to Conduct Virtual Office Hours from your Home or Office In-Person

Do you feel that your office hours are under-utilized by students? Create more flexible opportunities to interact with students by holding office hours in a virtual setting. In this seminar, you will learn how to engage productively with students in a virtual space using WebEx, Blackboard Collaborate and Google Hangouts, record sessions and distribute them to the entire class, create WebEx groups for proctored study sessions as well as chat sessions, and create appointment slots on your Google calendar to set up virtual meetings.
